Ambassador Silvano Pedrollo met with H.E. Isabel Brilhante Pedrosa, Ambassador of the European Commission to the Republic of Cuba. Amb. Brilhante graciously received Amb. Pedrollo in her office after the initial greetings. During their conversation, Amb. Brilhante reviewed the current relations between the European Union and Cuba, highlighting the signing of the Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement in 2016 and other relevant topics. Additionally, she mentioned ongoing macro-projects, including one on Sustainable Agriculture.
In a tradition steeped in history and mutual respect, Ambassador Pedrollo, the newly appointed envoy of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to Cuba, extended a courtesy visit to Roberto Vellano, the esteemed Ambassador of the Italian Republic in Havana. The bond between the Italian Republic and the Order of Malta transcends mere diplomatic relations; it is a testament to the deep historical and geographical connections shared between the two entities. From shared cultural heritage to intertwined historical narratives, Italy and the Order of Malta have fostered a relationship built on mutual understanding and cooperation.
H.E. Silvano Pedrollo had the privilege of being received by the Most Reverend His Excellency Monsignor Eloy Domínguez Martínez, Auxiliary Bishop of Havana. The meeting took place at the Archdiocese of Havana, where Bishop Domínguez welcomed Amb. Pedrollo in the Hall of Portraits.
