Working visit with the Archbishop of Santiago de Cuba supports Order of Malta projects in Oriente

In August 2025, Antonio Acosta-Rua, Counsellor to the Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Cuba, held a working meeting with Archbishop Dionisio Guillermo García Ibáñez, Archbishop of Santiago de Cuba, as part of continued collaboration with the local Church. The program formed part of a multiday working visit in the Archdiocese.

Humanitarian food delivery received in Santiago de Cuba supports the eastern dioceses and Camagüey

In August 2025, the Sovereign Order of Malta supported the reception of a humanitarian delivery in Santiago de Cuba. The delivery supported assistance to people in need through charitable works serving vulnerable communities. It was made possible through the Embassy’s efforts, with the support of benefactors in Europe.
