Humanitarian delivery coordinated by the Order of Malta strengthens food assistance in Cuba
On November 18, 2024, a 40-foot container filled with essential food supplies was received at the warehouse of the San Francisco de Paula Home in Havana. The shipment was organized by the Cuban Association of the Order of Malta in Miami, thanks to a generous donation from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Humanitarian delivery by the Embassy of the Order of Malta supports vulnerable communities
The Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Cuba, under the leadership of Ambassador Silvano Pedrollo, coordinated the delivery of a container with approximately 22,000 kg of essential food supplies. The shipment included rice, tuna, powdered milk, canned meat, soups, and other basic goods. Ambassador Pedrollo was responsible for organizing this valuable contribution.

Archbishop Camilleri, a seasoned diplomat in the service of the Holy See, takes on this mission with a shared desire to continue strengthening the fraternal bonds between the Nunciature and institutions present on the island.

The Ambassador meets with the Ambassador of the European Commission in Cuba
Ambassador Silvano Pedrollo met with H.E. Isabel Brilhante Pedrosa, Ambassador of the European Commission to the Republic of Cuba. Amb. Brilhante graciously received Amb. Pedrollo in her office after the initial greetings. During their conversation, Amb. Brilhante reviewed the current relations between the European Union and Cuba, highlighting the signing of the Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement in 2016 and other relevant topics. Additionally, she mentioned ongoing macro-projects, including one on Sustainable Agriculture.
