On March 20th, Ambassador Simpson met in Bratislava with the Cuban Ambassador to the Slovak Republic, H.E. Rafael P. Pino Bécquer.
Ambassador Simpson was in Slovakia on the occasion of the opening of a centre of the Order of Malta for Roma children in Topol’čany. Present with Ambassador Simpson at the meeting was Mr. Dominik Brichta, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Slovak Republic.
The two ambassadors exchanged information and views on the activities and priorities of Cuba and the Order of Malta in Slovakia, and found several promising areas for further exploration for potential collaboration.
