The Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Republic of Cuba extends its warmest greetings to , recently appointed by Pope Francis as the new Apostolic Nuncio to Cuba. Archbishop Camilleri, a seasoned diplomat in the service of the Holy See, takes on this mission with a shared desire to continue strengthening the fraternal bonds between the Nunciature and institutions present on the island.

The Embassy also wishes to express its sincere gratitude to His Excellency Archbishop Giampietro Gloder, recently appointed Apostolic Nuncio to Romania and Moldova. During his mission in Havana, Archbishop Gloder demonstrated a spirit of dialogue and a strong willingness to collaborate, especially in humanitarian and pastoral efforts in support of the most vulnerable communities.

We are confident that the relationship between the Apostolic Nunciature and the Embassy of the Order of Malta will continue to flourish in a spirit of communion, service, and dedication — in keeping with the charism of both institutions in their commitment to human dignity and Christian charity.
