The President of the Republic of Cuba, H.E. Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, was presented with the letters of credential and recall from his predecessor by H.E. Silvano Pedrollo, the new Ambassador of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to Cuba.

Also present at the event were Cuban Foreign Minister His Excellency Bruno Rodríguez and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, Ambassador Pedrollo conveyed a message from the Grand Master of the Order of Malta, His Excellency Fra’ John Dunlap, expressing the Order’s interest in expanding collaboration with the Cuban people, particularly focusing on the elderly. The President acknowledged and appreciated the Order’s efforts, expressing optimism for further cooperation between Cuba and the Order of Malta for the betterment of the Cuban population.
